Born in Western Australia, the effervescent Bridget Malcolm was first discovered in her hometown at age 15. Bridget chose to finish high school and study a Bachelor of Classical Music (the Oboe) at Western Australia’s Academy of Performing Arts before moving to New York in 2009.
Bridget was lead oboist in the WA Youth Orchestra and toured throughout America and Europe, she is also classically trained in ballet. Bridget is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle and practices yoga daily. She is married to musician, Nathanial Hoho (Walking Shapes).
In 2016, Bridget starred in campaigns for iconic Australian brands Seafolly, Country Road, Calibre and Bonds. In 2017 Bridget was chosen by David Jones as their Spring Summer Fashion Ambassador starring in both the campaign and on the runway.
Since moving to New York, Bridget has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including; Ralph Lauren, Polo Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, Burberry, Maybelline, H+M, Hugo Boss, Victoria’s Secret, VS Sport, Tommy Hilfiger, Top Shop and Free People. Editorials have included V Magazine (cover shot by Mario Testino), Harper’s Bazaar (Netherlands, Mexico, Spain, Thailand, Australia), Elle (US, Australia), Glamour (UK), Teen Vogue (US), Russh Magazine,
Vogue Brides AU and InStyle AU.
Bridget was chosen by Ralph Lauren as the global face of Polo Ralph Lauren for seasons (2014/15/16) in campaigns shot by the legendary Bruce Webber and walked for Ralph Lauren in numerous Spring Summer collections in Paris.
Other fashion week shows include; Marc by Marc Jacobs, Rodarte, Peter Som, Vera Wang, Dianne Von Furstenberg, Topshop, Emporio Armani, Stella McCartney, Tibi and Issa.
Bridget joined the ranks of modellings elite being chosen by Victoria’s Secret for consecutive shows in 2015 and 2016 airing to over 40 million people worldwide.
In 2017 Bridget included a focus on her writing to her long list of achievements with her blog gaining international acclaim and articles published in Harper’s Bazaar AU and Taiwan. She is a regular contributor for Pop Sugar online and has been published on Elle, Vogue and Harpers online.
Bridget is a certified Health Coach and is studying to be a nutritionist. Bridget continues to bring a level of substance and accomplishment to her career that places her at the very top of the global industry.
