Christian Wilkins - Bio
After graduating from High School with majors in Dance, Drama and
Textiles, Christian opted out of a place at Sydney Uni to follow his
passion for live performance.
Christian spent much of his early years in studios…writing and
recording his music…working on his voice, piano and composing skills in
addition to working with vocal coach David Jaanz.
He’s attended a number of acting classes, notably the prestigious
Atlantic Theatre Group (founded by David Mamet, and William H. Macy)
attending a 7 week intensive course in New York City.
Christian has also studied with Les Chantry in Sydney and (Lee Strasberg alumni) Peter Kalos in Melbourne.
In the following years Christian has focused on nurturing his
presenting and public speaking skills, kicking off with a triumphant
MC'ing of his Dad’s hugely successful Down Syndrome Fundraiser.
Since those beginnings Christian has MC’d various VIP events for high end clients including Luke Mangan and The Star.
With an unapologetic sense of self and a unique style Christian
attracts attention wherever he goes and acquitted himself with sincerity
and sensitivity in the moving SBS documentary series on homelessness
[Filthy Rich & Homeless].
In February 2017 Christian appeared alongside the Iconic Dame Edna
Everage in an online video for Westfield and in May appeared to great
media attention at 2017 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week walking for leading
men’s designer Justin Cassin.
Christian hosts the hugely popular ACRA nominated Podcast Radical
Fashionism with close friend Andy Kelly and recently appeared as an E
News Fashion Correspondent and has spent time as a social media producer
at Channel 9.
He is passionate about fashion, style, music, acting, movies, and pop
culture and continues to build a reputation as one of Australia’s most
well connected, informed and well liked individuals.
Christian continues to make a name for himself as one of the most accomplished and entertaining MC’s in Australia.
Christian proved a popular and skilled contestant on the 2020 Network 10 show Dancing With The Stars ultimately coming in 2nd
after a tight finish.
Soon after he was cast in a predominant role on the Stan Series “Eden” shot in Byron Bay.
